He must ensure that the merchants’ products and services match his interests so he can give his full attention and dedication to the program. He can get valuable information by joining affiliate forums, comparing different affiliate programs and reading articles on affiliate marketing where he can get tips from experienced affiliate marketers on how to choose the best merchants and products with high conversion rate.

The website is a very important tool in the whole affiliate program. As an affiliate marketer, you should plan how your site is going to be, from domain name to the design, the lay-out, the content, and ads. Some users are particular about what they see at first glance and thus when they find your site ugly, they won’t read through the content even if your site has many things to say and offer. On the other hand, there those who want information more than anything else. Lots of affiliate sites don’t appear in the search engine results because they are deemed by affiliate managers as personal sites. Major search engines and directories would think of your site as transient ones and thus, they won’t list it in the directory. Before you decide on the domain name, know first what you are going to promote. Many fail because their sites are not appropriately named, so even when they feature the exact products the customer is looking for, the customer might think the site is not relevant and thus, won’t enter the site.

Above all, an affiliate marketer must be willing to learn more. Certainly, there are still a lot of things to learn and so an affiliate marketer must continue to educate himself so he can improve his marketing strategies. Many fail because they don’t grow in the business and they are merely concerned about earning big quickly. If you want long-term and highly satisfactory results, take time to learn the ins and outs of the business. Continue to improve your knowledge especially with the basics in affiliate marketing ranging from advertising to programming, web page development, and search engine optimization techniques. Likewise, study the needs and wants of your site users and how different merchandisers compete with each other.

Keep on trying; don’t get disappointed if your first attempts did not pay off. Thousands are attracted by the possibility of generating skyrocketing incomes through affiliate marketing and so they sign up in any affiliate program without carefully understanding every aspect of the business. When they don’t get instant results, they quit and sign up for another program and repeat the process of just copying links and referring them to others. When you sign up for an affiliate program, don’t expect to get rich in an instant. Work on your advertising strategies and be patient. You’ll never know how much you can get if you don’t persevere.

The landscape of search engines have went through
some drastic changes over the years. Not only with
technology, but also with various partnerships
between the many different search companies as well.

You might be running your search engine queries on
a particular search engine, although who is actually
supplying the results - it could be a different
company altogether.

Below, is a list of the search engines that feed your
precious keywords:

Yahoo
Yahoo provides the primary search results for Yahoo
search, Alta Vista, and AllTheWeb, and receives paid
listings from Yahoo Search Marketing (formerly known
as Overture).

Google
Google provides the primary search engine results
to Google AOL Search and also Netscape. Google also
supplies paid listings to Lycos, Ask, Netscape, AOL
Search, and HotBot. It also supplies secondary
results to HotBot and receives it's directory data
from DMOZ.

Lycos
Lycos receives the directory search results from
DMOZ, primary results from Ask, and paid listings
from Google Adwords.

Hotbot
Hotbot receives directory search results from DMOZ,
primary search results from Ask, and paid/secondary
results from Google Adwords.

Ask
Ask provides primary results to Ask, Hotbot, and
Lycos. It receives secondary search results from
Teoma and the directory results from DMOZ, with
paid listings from Google Adwords.

In relations to marketing, search engines can
provide anything you want to know. If someone is
looking for something, they normally refer to the
search engines. When they type it in, the highest
sites on the engines will show - which is normally
where the visitor will go.

By keeping good position on the search engines,
you'll be near the first for visitors who are looking
for a certain product. You can make a lot of money
with search engines as well, if you know what you
are doing.

The Law of Attraction

Some of you may have heard of this idea before. No, it's not

opposites attract. This is more-alike attracts alike.
The idea here is for every thought you have has a feeling to go

with it. Those feelings put out energy. Everything in the world has

energy. So when you think happy positive thoughts you have positive

feelings and put positive energy into the universe. The same effect

occurs when you have negative thoughts.
So let's say you have a lot of debt. The way law of attraction works

is the more you dwell on the problem the more energy you put out in

that area. So your debt won't change. If you think more about where

you want to be in your life and what you want in your life the better

it will be. Don't dwell on the problem be grateful for what is good.
You see positive attracts positive and the same with negative.

Think positive. Think about what you want, how would that make you

feel. Put an emotion to your thoughts so that, that is the energy you

put out and that is the energy you attract. You will see changes.
My father-in-law is a farmer like my husband, but all last

summer all dad talked about is not being able to "make a go of it."

How you can't make any money. Well, he faired okay but maybe he would

do better if he changed his way of thinking.
When you think negative you set yourself up for failure before

you even start.
Think about luck. "If it wern't for bad luck I would have no

luck at all." That is probably because you are already thinking that

whatever you are doing isn't going to work. Think positive about

yourself. Think positive about what you do and want. Put emotions

into your thoughts. Believe it will come true.

Brush Your Teeth

This a very short article but I have an interesting analogy for you. Today my 2

year old son wanted to brush his teeth. Ok, well I put the toothpaste on and he didn't do

anything.

So what's my point. To brush your teeth you can't just put the toothpaste on and

put the brush on the cupboard and walk away thinking that you have done something. You

have to actually put the brush in your mouth and move it around.

So now you can't sign up for a business or program and not apply some work. You

have to learn how to do things and then go and actually do it. You have to turn things on

and put some effort into it. The phrase my group uses is " you have to plug it in."

Internet marketing can be easier than cold calling thousands of people, but there

is still work involved. We learn a lot of marketing stratagies with the Pay it Forward

program. You have to do what you learn.

You can't not do it and expect a miracle to happen. I've said it before and I'll

say it again, this is not get rich quick this is get rich gauranteed. If you put the

toothpaste on the brush do it right. Go all out.

Do you have desire? What is desire?
To me desire is an overwhelming emotion for success. Desire is what truely drives you to

succede. It is what won't let you quit. I have talked about this before, but desire is

what has driven so many people to success in all aspects of their lives.

Burning Desire is half of what takes you from nothing to everything. How many

businesses have you tried, trying to find financial freedom. Granted there are businesses

out there that are fake. However, there are some very good ones. So how can one person

succede and the next one not.

It is the BURNING DESIRE to have what you want. If you have a good business why

are you struggling? There are many factors most likely. But number one would be desire.

Desire to learn what you need to know. Desire to apply what you learn. The desire to help

other people learn and succede as well.

Also along with desire you need to define what you want. Know what you want, write

it down and hang it up where you will see it every single day. Think about what you want

and make it an obsession of sorts. Then when you achieve the obsessive burning desire for

what you want nothing will stop you.

It is the thought of something that counts. The more you think something the more

true it becomes. It is our thoughts that are our own worst enemy. So the trick is to

change those thoughts into positive thoughts. "I am beautiful." "I am successful."

Things like that. When you get your thoughts straight and know what you want, you will be

an unstopable success machine.

You can't say things like try or I"ll see how it goes. You have to tell your self

something like, "I will do this." "I will exact every possible measure to succede." You

really have to give it everything you can to give it a fair trial.

Most people quit when they are so close to success. There is a story of a

gentlemen who purchased mining machinery with the help of investors to mine gold. For

sometime he mined the gold and then it went dry. He tried for a while longer but found no

more. He quit. He sold the machinery to a junk man who then started mining in the exact

spot the other gentlemen quit. After three feet the junk man found gold again. Many

people do this. They quit when they are so close.

But if you know what you want and have adopted and obsession for it and stand

behind that desire untill your wants are realized, you will be successful at everything

you do.

KNOW what you want and don't quit until you get it.

What If A Franchise Was Run Like a Typical Home Based Business and Residual Income?

Have you ever wondered how a Franchise would do if run like a typical home business? This might give you some idea. There is something that is long as I live I will never understand. Well I suppose actually there are several things, however right now this is business focused. That something is residual income. I just can’t for the life of me understand how someone can go through life and just continue to work at a job with no plan for residual income. I suppose many people just can’t comprehend that they can have money coming into them while they aren’t working. There are a number of ways to get residual income like writing a book, or a song. However, these are tough occupations to succeed at. One of the very best ways to have residual income is good home business in Network Marketing. Network marketing has been criticized, poked fun of, ridiculed and worse. But it’s here to stay and it’s popularity is growing. Often called the poor man’s franchise, with the right company, product and timing a person can actually do much better than a franchise without the expense and headaches that so often accompany a franchise. Think about this, what would you say is the best most successful stable franchise today? Several come to mind but no one can argue that McDonalds wouldn’t be at or near the top of most lists. So what kind of point am I making here. Simply this, many people argue that home businesses, especially in the area of network marketing don’t work. Well gee whiz if a McDonalds was run the same way the majority of people work their home business the McDonalds would all go out of business. Here is how the typical McDonalds would be run if run by the typical unsuccessful home businessperson. When it’s open – I stress the word open, (more on this) it would probably be open less than 1 hour a day. The workers would be sitting around pretending to be working, but accomplishing very little. And then suddenly at a whim the store would abruptly close, perhaps to open again in a few days or even a few weeks. No schedule or hours of operation would be posted when the store was going to be open. After reopening after an absence the workers would just be getting back in the groove of working again when a half hour later the store would close because no customers were coming in. It seemed not knowing when the store would be open was keeping them away – imagine that. Well after a month or so of no customers the store is closed with the owner muttering under his breath. “These franchise things just don’t work!” Then he starts telling all his friends, “I tried one of those franchise things once. They just don’t work!” This example is easy to see and yet we all wonder why a home business fails when conducted in this same manner. What is great about a home business versus a traditional business is you don’t have to start each day at 8:00, you have a lot of flexibility. However, you don’t have the flexibility not to work for days and weeks at a stretch and engage in poor work habits when you decide to work. Of course not all the blame can be put on the new home business person, there are some bad programs out there and timing can be bad with others. Of course wrong expectations can mislead many people into discouragement. What do we mean here. Well look at it this way. Very few people would argue that Microsoft would be a poor stock investment today. However, there are people that hype their particular company that has passed it's growth spurt, that you can get rich and retire with their company. This is the same as a dishonest stock broker pushing Microsoft from the angle of it getting ready to explode in value as they will have double digit growth each month for the next 5 years. Hey in the early 80’s Microsoft had this type of growth, just don't expect the growth to continue forever. The point is there are always new Microsoft’s in the Business and Home Business markets. Instruction On Setting Up Your Response Magic Auto

What is the secret to free traffic? Telling the search

It sounds like a Catch-22. After all, if you have no traffic

regularly searches for and optimize your web site for those
keywords then you will see an increase in traffic. A simple
one hour investment of your time could reap dramatic results.

Many internet marketers spend time generating a list of
keywords they want to target but they do not do the basic
research to make sure people are actually using those keywords.
It is useless to optimize your site for a set of keywords that
generate no traffic. There are a number of keyword suggestion
tools around but the best not only give you a list of keywords
but also tell you how many people are searching for those
words or terms. My favorite keyword suggestion tool can be

Simply type in the basic word or term that you would like to
target then hit the enter key.

You will receive results for both Wordtracker and Overture.
I always study the Overture list but tend to base my own
keyword choices on the Wordtracker results. Overture gives
you the total number of times a search query has been
entered into a search engines within the Overture network
(including Yahoo, AltaVista and MSN) and can generate some
duplicates. On the other hand Wordtracker gets its figure
from entries made on meta search engines (such as
Metacrawler and Dogpile) that query all the major engines
simultaneously and sorts out the duplications.

Depending on the results you receive you may need to
experiment with different words and combinations until
you arrive at an audience size that will meet your needs.
Do not simply jump at the top term as that may well be a
highly competitive market. Sometimes you can achieve
better results for your site by aiming a bit lower down
the list--especially if there are good results for a
longer keyword phrase. It is often difficult to get
within the top search engine results for competitive one
or two word keyword terms but you can place well with a
longer phrase that is not as highly targeted by competitors.

Once you have your keyword phrase selected you must optimize
your site. Make sure the phrase is reflected in your title
bar, alt tags (with your logo, for example), top headline
for the page, and once within the text of your page. Do not
go crazy and stuff the keyword in every nook and cranny of
your site. Keyword stuffing can often have negative effects
on search engine results and may even get your site banned
by some search engines. Simply making sure the keyword is
included in these key positions will be sufficient for basic
keyword optimization.

Selecting the right keywords and including those keywords in
key positions within your web site will have a dramatic result
on your traffic.

is a multi level or net-working business. This is when the business

requires you to look for business partners to sign up under you to help

you make more money. well several of these types of businesses can be

very difficult to be successful at. It is usually the people that can

sell absolutley everything to everyone that have the best success.

Most average people can not achieve the same success. However, here

are some things to help you find the right type of business and system

that ANYONE can acheive success with.

There are seven critical elements that a business should have.

1: Unique Products: Products must serve multiple market catagories.

For instance If you only have one product you can only reach one type

of catagory of person to sell to. Where as if you have several

different products chances are you are going to find people who already

use a simular product so it is easier to go to those people with your

products. It becomes less of a forced sell when you have multiple

products. Also when you have a business that has patents for their

products you have less competition. One more thing is that your

products have to serve the masses. If you look at Walmart there is

just about everything you can possibly imagine to buy there. However

Mr. Walton does not use cosmetics but they are in his stores. You

don't have to use every product yourself but know that there is a

market for them. You reach more people.

2: You need company stability. This will give you long-term business

and finacial security , based on company and business history.

3: The marketing system must follow the marketing techniques used and

taught in the PIF4P marketing center. That is they have to be simple

and duplicatable. The ability to duplicate a marketing system is the

difference between success and failure.

4: The company must be led by already successful leaders in the

business with a vision for future growth. It is easier to follow a

successful person than a non successful person.

5: The business must be ground four in the global reach. The more

people you can reach the better success you will have.

6: The business has to have a substantial compensation plan. Must

pay out at least 50% comissions of sales. Must offer unlimited depth

width in comp plan. Must offer fast start bonuses, and awards and

recognition. You must beable to achieve $10,000 per month with less

than fuve hundred people in a reasonable period of time.

7: Pay It Forward--- This is the most important element. Why because

you have to pay it forward to your members to make them successful, to

make you successful. They must give back globally what they are taking

out. The companies vision is to make an impact on the world in a

positive way.

Multi-Level Marketing Myths

My previous article talked about sponsoring. I explained my

views and I hope they made sense to you. Today I would like to talk

about the number of people you need to enroll to reach your income

goals.

If you have tried other businesses before maybe you have heard

things like you only need to enroll two people or four people to make

five or ten thousand dollars a month. Well, that is a myth. What

people don't tell you is that you may have to enroll one hundred or

more people to find the two or four that are as serious as you are.

People in other businesses make it sound easier than it is.

It's not that hard really once you get into it. I only started a

couple of months ago and I have learned a lot and have had some

trouble. But I always work through it. It is more the time spent on

it than it is hard. To squash another myth this is not get rich quick

this is get rich gauranteed. This will not happen over night. There is

an order to doing things and it does take time but if you don't take

the time to do it right now it will take longer. Work smarter not

harder. To go back to the sponsoring thing, if you don't have a good

sponsor or mentor to teach you how to do it right, you will be

struggling for years to get to your goals.

What You Need To Understand About Online Marketing

If you are a surfer like me you have seen a lot of web pages

for several businesses that say, "No Sponsoring Required." This is not

true. I'm not sure what that statement means to you. To me it seems

like if there is no sponsoring, if you don't have business partners

under you how can you make money.

If I think MLM I think okay there are several levels to this

business. To me it's really no different than any other business.

Look at Walmart. Okay, there is the owner, there are managers of

various positions and you have clerks and people that stock the

shelves. If you had one person trying to run all the departments of

every store Wallmart wouldn't be a very well established business.

This system goes both ways. If there were not the people on hand to

layout the products how would you find them. If you didn't have

clerks, how would you pay for you purchases. It would go all the way

to the top.

If you go the other way, if managers didn't have guidance from

owners, ect. the system wouldn't work either.

To me Multi Level goes up and down. We need our leaders to

become good leaders ourselves. Then teach our people to also be good

leaders. Don't be mislead by the idea of multi level marketing.

If there are no customers or downline money will not be made.

So there has to be sponsoring of some kind. You have to enroll people

under you and people under them, ect. to have a successfull business.

So I would advise that you not pay attention to those type of webpages,

that claim there is not sponsoring involved.

Burn Out

Hello Everyone,

Today (after you read this article) I want you to take the day off. You probably have been working really hard to get your new internet business off the ground. If you have found any of my other articles I have outlined several marketing strategies. Clicking for advertising credits on traffic exchanges. Posting in forums and article writing and a few others. You should have a daily schedual of things to do to keep your business growing steadily.

But, it is important to take time for yourself. You need to take time to relieve stress and take time for personal growth. If you don't you will experience burn out.

Burn out is when you run out of ideas. You get bored of what you are doing. Your business sort of comes to a stand still. You should probably take time every day. Go for a walk. Go for coffee. Just take a time out for yourself.

The importance of this is to clear your head so you can find fresh new ideas to keep your business growing all the time. If you are unable to do it every day maybe you can take one day a week that you are not working your business.

You new comers are probably very excited to get your business growing as quickly as possible. Pace yourself. One day at a time and it will all come together.

Seize The Moment

Alright people this is it. This is the day you make the biggest decision of your life. Well, almost the biggest. Anyway I would like to tell you to seize the moment. I along with my family burried my grandfather yesturday and I also have a sick grandma that we don't know yet how long she has. This is not my point though. I only bring it up because life can change so dramatically in the blink of an eye that we don't have any time to wast sitting on the fence. If you have been looking for a home based business on or off the internet and you haven't quit made up your mind yet if you want to do it or not, today is the day to do just that. Make up your mind. Life is to short and time goes by so fast. It had been over three years since I had seen my grandpa and it has been at least that long since I have seen my grandma.

What matters when working an online business? There are certain things that matter and certain things that don't matter when you are running and online business.

The first thing that does not matter is the product. I know that sounds really wierd but stay with me here. It doesn't matter how great your product is. It doesn't matter how cheap it is. It doesn't matter if you have the best vitamins or the best phone service. The money isn't in the product it is in the way you market your product. You can't have a battle with other people about who has the best product or the best price. You have to beable to market your product to the rest of the people out there.

On the internet there is a lot of competition so you have to beable to stand out.

So what does matter? Well your product has to stand alone with or without a
business opportunity. In others words people will use your product or service over and over even if they don't take advantage of the business opportunity behind the product.

The other thing that does matter is that your product has to add value to the market. If you have a simular product to what is already out there you can't think," I'm going to take all their customers." That won't work. You have to add value to the industry and promote your product effectively, to build your own customer base.

But you know the real product is a well trained marketer. You know those people that could sell ice to Eskimos, well they are the well trained marketers. They know what they are talking about. They know how to get the right point across to help there potential customers. They could sell anything to anyone. They will have success no matter what they do. so now you are thinking," I can't sell anything." You are wronge. You just have to find the right program to learn how to become a great marketer. There is a movie called Pay it Forward. There is a boy who has a school project
were he has to find a way to change the community. Well he starts a program were he helped one person and then that person was to go help three other people and so on.

That is what pay it forward means. You help someone and they help someone and so

If or when rather you come across another traffic excahnge sign up for that one as well.

Then another one and another one. The point of this, if you have read my other articles

you will remember, that you want to get your website out to as many people as possible.

You need to get as many links pointing back to you as you can.

So here is another effective way of marketing your online business and get your

link out there. This will take some time but it will work. It will get your links out

there.

On your internet browser do a search for "add my URL." or"Add my site" something

along those lines. You will get a different list with each search. Look at each one

carefully. The key you want to look for is one way linking. You want to put your website

out on someone else's site but you don't really want to put someone else's on yours. You

can if you want to though. Some sites don't want mirror sites. Mirror sites are sites

with the exact same contect but with different URLs. Also some sites only want things

specific to what they already have. For example, I came accross one that only wanted sites

relating to the Ukrain.

This is a very effective way to get your link seen by a lot of people.

This should help you get the ball rolling. This type of advertising should be free

Philosophy of People

Today I have a little bit of philosophy for you. I hope this will help you to understand people. Then think about it in terms of how to market your business effectively.

First of all people are lazy. Not everyone, but there are some. If we don't have to do something do we do it? People want quick and easy. People who have been in the internet marketing business for a while know that it may not be that quick. It might be easy, but that is in the eye of the beholder.

Every decision we make is to obtane pleasure oo avoid pain. Every decision, it doesn't matter what it is. We choose not to purposely hurt ourselves because it will hurt. We choose to go to a dance on Saturday because it will bring us pleasure. People don't like to call strangers or they don't feel comfortable about telling their friends and family about their ventures, for fear of rejection, or pain.

The desire to avoid pain is greater than the desire for pleasure. We want to avoid pain or regection so we don't call strangers or tell our family and friends. We will go out of our way to avoid pain.

People will do anything to cure or avoid pain. "I would do anything to make my back feel better." Or "I would do anything to make some extra money." But they also fear rejection so they avoid the pain of cold calling.

People would rather learn about something than to actually do it. People want to sign up with something and they will learn how to do it. But, they don't actually do it. So of course they say it was a scam and it doesn't work, ect. They quit and move on to something else but the same thing happens there.

People want what they don't or can't have. "OH, I wish I had a fancy car." "Oh, I wish I had a $250,000 house." "I can't buy that, I don't have the money." If we had it we wouldn't have to wish for it. You have to be willing to put in the time and effort to get what you want.

So, keep in mind these things when marketing your business or even working with a new prospect. Make it simple, fun and impossible not to do it.

The Be Successful Check List

Todays little incentive is to learn how to be successful.

The first thing is to set a goal and make it a MUST. If you want to succede you have to have gaols. I alsays say, "Look Beyond Your Goals". If you set on goal and you reach that goal set a new one. When you reach that goals set a new one. keep going. Make it a musst. I HAVE to do this. don't drive yourself to maddness, but do what it takes to be successful. It doesn't matter if it's life in general or in business, or in marriage. Do what it takes to be successful.

Here is a list of reasons as to why people fail.

1.People don't define wealth. You have to know what wealth is to you, or you will not be wealthy.

2.People make wealth a moving target. Decide what wealth is to you and stick with it.

3.Don't make axcuses for not being successful. If you are going to do it then do it.

4. People don't make walth a must. If you make it amust you will put in the time and effort to make it work.

5.People don't have a plan. Get serious and set out a plan for what you are going to do each day to improve your success.

6.People don't follow through. They say they will do something but then they don't. Don't just have a plan, follow through with it. Do what you set out to do.

7.People make experts responsible for their own decisions. "John said to do this, so I did and it didn't work." Don't blame it on John. Did you do all you where supposed to do. Did you go back and see what was wronge and fix it. Did you go back to John for more information. Don't just blame it on John and quit.

8.People give up when faced with a challenge. If someone runs into a problem they say,"I can't do this", or "This isn't gooing to work." They quit. You have to work through each problem and fix it, so it does work.

9. People let others emotions get in the way of their plans. If someone is excited about a new venture, and someone else says that won't work. It interfers with our plans. Don't listen to losers that are not successful themselves.

10.People never get quality coaching or mentoring. If there are training calls for your business listen to them. Ask questions. Find someone to talk to . To help you work out a plan and get you going.

Look at your own habits and change what needs to be changed so you too, can be successful.

Offline marketing is placing ads in newspapers, magazines, business

Offline marketing is a great way to stand out from the crowd. Most
people who start an online business only advertise online, where there is the most competition. If more people focused on offline marketing as much as they do online marketing, fewer would fail and more would make fortunes.

So why is offline marketing so effective? Mostly because there is less competition. Online there are so many ads coming from all directions a person doesn't know where to start. Offline ads for onlineopportunities have a lot less competition. Huge opportunity for you to expand your business.

So let us place some ads. Go to

For most offline publications you can place your ad online.
From the list of publications choose at least 3 print publications that

TAKE NOTE: You will want to place your ad in the "Business
Opportunities" or " Work from Home" catagories. Each directory may
have different catagories, so review them carefully. Also check the

The key to classified ads is to be consistant. Sales increase with
familiarity. You will make sales by only placing your ad once.

Are you quite new to the internet business community?

Are you thinking of quiting?

If you have a good mentor they wouldn't let you quite, because they see the potential and they want you to see it too.

Anyway,DON'T quit.

"It is all a leaning process" my mentor told me. She's right. Everything in life is a learning process. I have been gardening for ten years and I still have not figured out how to get my watermelon to grow before the summer is half over.

When you are new to the internet it is a little tricky to find what you are looking for. Then add a business, well now what. Just tell yourself all in good time. Good things come to those who wait, remember.

As a fairly new internet user myself, as well as new to internet business it has taken some time to get going. They didn't build Rome in a day. Almost everyday I learn something new to expand my business.
There are only so many hours in a day, so don't play yourself out. Take a day off so you can come up with some new ideas.

With everything you do, your business builds momentum. As you repeatedly do those things the momentum will become unstopable. Getting your business going in the right direction is the hardest part. Once it's going you'll be fine.

Newton's law of motion is often stated,"An object at rest tends to stay at rest, and object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same speed and direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force."

Your business is the object. Hang in there. Get your business in motion and it will stay that way.

I hope I have been successful in helping you market your online
business. Today I would like to write about Online Forums.

What is a forum?

The answer to that is very simple.
An internet forum is a great place to meet other internet marketers.
It's a chat sort of thing, except it is not live.

It is extremly beneficial to become a member of a forum. The reason
being is that it is said that if you want to be successfull you need to
hang around with those that are.

Forum memberships are more valuable than e-books and training programs.
Why? Because the people publishing the e-books and training programs
are usually on the forums.

A forum is a great place to go to mingle with other internet marketers,
some of the best in the world. It can serve as a training center for
new internet marketers. Also a place to share ideas and find answers
to your questions. A great place to meet new friends and create new
partners. A forum is an on going always growing support centre for
your internet marketing.

So how do you do set up a forum?

This too is very easy. I'll let you start with this one,

Click "work at home discussion" at the top of the page,

Click "register" at the top left hand side.

Fill out the form provided, read the terms and

click the "I agree" box

Click submit registration.

You should get an email confirming your registration along with your
username and password.

Then login and look around at the services provided by work at home

network. To participate in a conversation

click on "work at home discussion" again.

Enter username and password

then ckick on a topic and see what it says.

To post a reply, simply click the reply button
and type in your reply. Then submit it.

Also don't forget to set up your signiture file. This is a small
posting that will go after your post that you type in. Here you would
put your name and maybe a catch fraise like, mine, is Always Look
Beyond Your Goals.

To set up your sig file, login

click "My controls".

click "edit sugniture" at the left hand side.

Enter what you would like your signiture to say.

There your all set. Happy Posting.

Also watch for where you can and can not post advertisements. Some
forums are different. Remember the people in forums already have a
business so they are not looking for another one. The point of the
forum is to help each other make money with the businesses we already
have. There are some places you can place adds where people wouln't

The Importance of Having an Autoresponder

What is an auto-responder?

This is a very important tool when marketing a business. It automatically follows up with the people who have enrolled in your business. It automatically sends them emails for you, to gently remind them of your opportunity. You notice I mentioned autiomatically. That's because it is. When someone enrolls in my business their name and email go directly to my auto responder. It sends my people emails everyday.

Why do you need a follow up system?

Well, most people will not actively enroll in your business. They may sign up to have a look at your opportunity, but they may not actually do anything. So the key here is exposure. You many not pay attention to something the first time you hear about it. It might take four or five times of seeing the same add before you go buy a new accessory for your truck.

With an automatic email system reminding your enrollees of your producrs will create more exposure and more sales.

It also creates trust. This is important too. There are so many things going on on the internet how do you know you can trust it. If you receive an email telling you to go check some website, you may you may not. But you probably don't know the person who sent you the email personally so do you trust them of not. However, if you received an email regularily maybe explaining things a little more you will start to trust this person. Thus you decide to look at their opportunity more closley and become an active participant.

I think it's the law of nature. We are leary to try new things. So when we see something new it maybe scares us a little. We might stick our toes in to test the water, but we don't often jump right in. After we have been in the water a while then we dive. So when someone puts their name in an opt in list and you send them an inicial email, they may stay at the side for a while. With you automated follow up systemthey will start to dive too.

So to increase sales and profits find a follow up system.

Sometimes can be very challenging. I have only been in business a
short period of time and I am learning a lot about and doing things I
have never heard of. There have been quite a few hang ups getting
things to work right. For instance after being in business for about a
month I realized there was something wrong. When I tried to fix it, it
got worse. After a couple of emails to this particular affiliate
program and having to set up new email addresses and resign up with my
business three times, I finally got it right. Since then there has
only been a couple of hick-ups but I if I work at it long enough I
figure it out.

I have no doubt that there will be more tricks to figure out but
everytime I complete something successfully, I feel exhilerated. I'm
that much closer to where I want to be.

So, my advice to yu is don't give up. You know, everytime you learn
somthiing new you create connections in the brain. It's healthy to
challenge your brain, even if you get brain overload. Never give up.
Take a breake and try again. You can always find help somewhere. You
just have to take your time and look at things closely.

So for all you newbies(that't a new word for me) out there take a
break and clear your head. Try again later and it will all come
together. For all you profesional type people (guru's) take your new
business partners under your wings and show them the ropes. Sometimes
you have to treat us like we are five but we'll get the hang off it and
be gurus too. All in good time. Good luck

Do you have a business that is not doing very well? I can help.

There are four P's in business. Number one you have to have an exceptional Product, with that you need a great Price. Then you need a Place for your business. Then and most importantly you need to Promote your business.

Why is promotion so important? Because you can have a great product with a great price in a great place and no one will come if they don't know you exist.

One great way to promote your business is through traffic exchanges. There are more search engines out there besides Yahoo and Google. So when you use a traffic exchange your website goes out to different search engines.
All of the traffic exchanges that I use are free to join with the option to upgrade if you so choose. The basics behind a traffic exchange is for you to place an ad for your website. Then when people are looking for your type of business they can find you. After you register for each excange you will get a confirmation email with your personal links and login information. Then login and find the add or manage URL area. Place your add with web address here. Some exchanges require you to surf a certain number of sites before your ad goes into circulation. Then when you have time login and surf for credits. The more credits you have the more your site will be seen. Make sure to check each exchange for the rules and regulations.

Boy, having a good mentor makes a huge difference when you are trying to run a home business. I have a great mentor. I have wanted to pack it in a couple of times but she keeps me going. She has helped me every step of the way. Previous to going online and now.

You know I tried to set up a home typist position on the internet. Good lord. I didn't even know what a URL was at the time. The only contact I had with another person was through email. I had no idea what I was doing, what I was supposed to be looking for to set things up, ect. I gave up after a couple of days, emailing this lady writing thanks for the help but this is proving to be a tad difficult. When my company went online I thought now what?

Well, my mentor has been there all most every time I call. I really like MSN though because then I can talk to her and she could walk me through the parts that prove more difficult for me. Sometimes you have to pretend I'm like five but I am getting the hang of it.

So needless to say I am still here learning more than I ever thought I could. Hey I leaned how to blog and a few short months ago I didn't know what a URL is.
My mentor has really done a lot for me. She has helped me advertise my website. Faye even called me to set up a free add for me from her computer, when mine was down. That was really cool. Thanks Faye.

She has really been there as a friend too. She's been a great person for me to talk to about things in life.

So because of my mentor I have a successful online business. I still have trouble with new things, making sure I have everything right but my mentor is always there to help.

I hope I can be as good a mentor as the one I have.

For those of you who already have an online business you have a few affiliate programs to promote as well as your primary business.

Today I would like to tell you about one of my affiliate programs called GDI or Global Domains International.

GDI was founded by Michael Reed and Alan Ezeir. In the mid 1990's Michael and Alan realized the potential of the dot com craze. You see each country has it's own website code, like .com, .ca ect. After much research the guys found a new code. They tried to promote their code with other countries but they already had their own. But all was not lost Mike and Alan found a small country in south-central Pacific ocean that didn't have much to export. After many phone calls and emails a date was set for Mike and Alan to meet with the officials and heads of state of Samoa. They spent hours putting together a solid presentation and learning the customs of Samoa. However, months after their visit to Samoa Mike and Alan found that officials had turned down their proposal, and that other countries where let to offer the same idea. Mike decided to try once more and was able to contact the general manager of the technology company that was granted the domain contract, asked him to partner with Mike and Alan and the manager agreed. Samoa dicided to wait awhile to see what would happen, they are now on board and receive a percentage of every .ws domain sale. Dot .ws has grown emensly since then and has been featured in Inc. 500 magazine.

So, what is .ws? Dot ws is simply put a "website" domain name (internet address.)
Along with GDI is your own .ws website address, also WebSiteBuilder. Professionally desighned this allows your to build your own website. You receive custom email addresses with your domain name as your email address. Then there is URL forwarding. This allows you to forward someone from your .ws address to your exicting website if you already have one. Very handy.

So, basically, .ws is just a different website code than .com, .ca, ect. It comes with some very unique features.

Hello,

While I'm still new at running an internet business I have yet to do most of the things suggested we do to promote our business. (Although I am getting the hang of this blogging thing.) However, in the meantime learning how to set up programs and get them going, my husband and I have come across some slightly hard times.

My husband gets laid off from his truck driving job every spring for sometime and then the rest of the summer is run with limited cash. Until winter hits my husband doesn't work much. So we've gone through some trials fighting with the utility companies, ect. We also run a farm so alot of the income we do have goes into the farm.

Hopefully, the crop will come off with in the next three to four weeks and things will start to brighten up a little ( if it would quit raining!!)

Without getting into a three day long story of everything that has gone wronge in the last nine months or so, lets be POSITIVE.

It is hard to do when it seems like at every turn there is a hard ship. But this is when we need to keep our heads on straight. If you are not satisfied with your current situation you have to tell yourself " I deserve better than this." This is what I have been telling myself. Yesturday we had one more problem to add to our list, but I also got a little silver lining.

For those of you whom are in the same business as I am you know our higher mentors have posted some positive things for us to get into our heads. It makes perfect sense. If I sit here and mope about telling myself I'm poor, I'm destitude, ect. then that is what I will be. My analogy is "The garden won't grow anyway so I'm not going to bother. Well, of course it won't grow if you don't bother." It's the same with everything.

So no matter what is wronge you have to see what is right. My husband is here and healthy. My children are here and healthy. I AM HERE and healthy. We have a home, food, and clothes. The power still works and so does the phone. So all is well for this very moment. Thank God. (Literaly)
